Reticulation Mandurah — retic installed to Water Corporation rules

Two watering days a week, before 9am or after 6pm, nothing from June to August. Your retic has to do a lot with very little. We design, install and repair systems that deliver the right water to the right plants on the right days.

Reticulation is the thing most Mandurah yards get wrong. Sprinklers that spray paving, lawn and garden on the same station, controllers still running in July, and pop-ups that haven't been adjusted since the house was built. The result is dead lawn in one corner, fungus in another and a water bill that makes no sense.

We install retic the way the Water Corporation recommends: separate stations for lawn, garden and pots (hydrozoning), matched-precipitation nozzles, drip lines in garden beds, master valves and a controller programmed to your watering days with a winter switch-off. On larger Peel properties we also set up bore reticulation and pump systems.

FAQ

Retic questions, answered

What are my watering days in Mandurah?
They depend on the last digit of your street number: 1 or 8 — Wednesday & Saturday; 2 or 9 — Sunday & Thursday; 3 or 0 — Monday & Friday; 4 — Tuesday & Saturday; 5 — Sunday & Wednesday; 6 — Monday & Thursday; 7 — Tuesday & Friday. Water once on each day, before 9am or after 6pm. Use the watering-day finder on this site to check.
Can I run sprinklers in winter?
No. The Winter Sprinkler Switch-off runs 1 June to 31 August for scheme and bore users in Mandurah and Perth. Hand watering is fine. New lawns can apply to Water Corporation for an exemption — we'll help with that if we've just laid your turf.
How much does reticulation cost?
A standard 3–5 station residential system in the Perth–Mandurah area usually costs $1,500–$3,000 installed. Bore systems, large blocks and smart controllers add to that. Repairs are quoted per job.
Why is part of my lawn always dry?
Usually poor coverage (heads too far apart or wrong nozzles), low pressure because too many heads are on one station, or water-repellent sand. We test, fix the coverage and often recommend a wetting agent and soil improvement.
Do you install smart controllers?
Yes. Wi-Fi controllers let you adjust from your phone, skip watering after rain and stay compliant with the roster. They're a cheap upgrade on an existing system.
