Landscaping across the City of Mandurah
Sixteen suburbs, 90,000 people, 174 square kilometres between the ocean and the estuary — and we've landscaped in every one of them.
The City of Mandurah runs from Lakelands and Madora Bay in the north to Dawesville and Bouvard in the south, with the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. It's mostly single-storey separate houses (83% of dwellings) on sand — young Quindalup dune sand near the coast and limestone-based Spearwood sand a little inland — which shapes everything we do: soil amendment, drainage, retaining and plant selection.
The suburbs split roughly into three types. New estates like Lakelands, Meadow Springs, Madora Bay and Parklands, where we landscape new builds from raw sand and meet estate covenants. Established beachside and estuary suburbs like Silver Sands, Coodanup, Dudley Park and Falcon, where it's renovations, replacements and canal-side gardens. And lifestyle areas like Erskine, Greenfields and Bouvard with retirement villages, larger blocks and rural-residential lots.
