Every good landscape starts with the dirt in the right place. On new estate blocks that usually means stripping excess sand left by the builder, cutting levels for retaining walls and alfresco slabs, and trenching for retic and drainage. On established and rural properties it means clearing, levelling, driveway prep and getting rid of years of accumulated rubbish and green waste.

We run our own bobcat, mini excavator and tip truck, so earthworks happen when the job needs them — not when a hire company has a slot. We laser-level finished grades, keep fill off neighbouring properties, and know where the retaining wall and planning rules kick in on cut-and-fill sites.

How much is bobcat hire in Mandurah?

Bobcat or mini excavator with operator typically costs $94–$170 per hour in the Perth–Mandurah area, around $115 typical, usually with a minimum call-out. Most residential levelling and clean-up jobs are half a day to a day. We quote a fixed price where we can.

Can you remove excess sand from my new block?

Yes — this is one of our most common jobs in Lakelands, Baldivis, Madora Bay and Golden Bay. We strip to the right levels, truck the sand out and leave a laser-level base for lawn or paving.

Do I need approval to change my block's levels?

Changing levels close to a boundary can trigger retaining wall permits and, in the City of Mandurah, planning approval for fill over 500 mm. Within those limits, normal landscaping levels don't need approval. We'll flag it if your job is near the line.

Can you do firebreaks?

Yes. In the City of Mandurah and Shire of Murray lots over 4,000 m² need a 4 m mineral-earth firebreak by mid-November each year. We cut and maintain them.
